Suspect Arrested for DWI an Hour After Fatal Hit and Run in Darien

The woman arrested for vehicular manslaughter in the hit and run death of a young man on Sumner Road in Darien, was charged with drunk driving less than an hour after the fatal incident.
Authorities didn’t realize at the time 48 year old Jennifer Serrano was arrested for DWI Saturday night that she would be implicated the death of 18 year old Conner Lynsky of Hinkley, New York.
Serrano refused a breathalyzer test and was released on bail.
Lynsky was struck and killed early Sunday morning while walking along Sumner Road following the Jason Aldean concert.
His body was found almost 12 hours later after friends became concerned that he had not returned from the concert.
Serrano is being held in the Genesee county Jail on $100,000 bail.
