Written by WBTA STAFF on February 27, 2020
Press Release:
Effective February 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., Wyoming County Sheriff Gregory Rudolph has issued a NO UNNECESSARY TRAVEL ADVISORY for all of Wyoming County. The roads are NOT closed, however; the extreme weather combination of snow, wind and cold has created blizzard conditions and travel is extremely hazardous. The visibility is very poor and near zero in prone areas along with slippery and drifting roadways. North/South roads are particularly hazardous. The Wyoming County Sheriff does not determine the necessity of an individual’s obligation to travel. This is an advisory only and in effect until further notice.
