Genesee’s Haines Named NJCAA All-American
BATAVIA, NY… Jarett Haines was recently named NJCAA Basketball All-American. Haines was selected as a Third-Team All-American.
The Bronx, NY native started 29 games this season for the Cougars, averaging 19.6 points per game and shooting nearly 40% from behind the 3-PT line. This season, Haines also averaged nearly three assists, and over four rebounds per game. Jarett has an 80% average from the free throw line in his Genesee career.
Men’s basketball finished the season with a record of 15-14 and fell in the NJCAA Region III semi-finals to eventual Region III champion Erie Community College.
